SplatPipo takes a walk in a ruin and awakens a knight who has been sleeping there for 500 years. Pipo reunites the knight with his great love, who has been waiting for him all this time. Pipo manages to keep the lovers out of the hands of Dikke Deur, Snuf, and Snuitje, who have very different plans for them. Pipo takes them to the wizard Miriardo, who must send the Knight and his beloved back to the past. Because that is where their future lies.

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
