SplatA hospital welcomes its newest nursing addition, Yukari (Tomomi Segawa), who gets to stay in the first-year dorm on campus where having a man over will get you punished with a heavy hosing ("You dirty animals, stop resisting!"). Her rapport with her fellow nurses is put to the test when she ignores warnings and becomes involved with the head surgeon, Dr. Muraoka, who turns out to have a sinister side including a penchant for non-consensual sex and inappropriate use of cooking ingredients.

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
