SplatThe Bülbül family consists of Hazım Bey and his wife Asiye Hanım, their daughter Nevin, their son-in-law Ramazan, and their son Tosun. Hazım Bey retired after thirty years of civil service. Ramazan is caught between enduring his mother-in-law's sharp remarks, trying to fulfill his father-in-law's various requests while he stays home all day, and dealing with his brother-in-law Tosun. Tosun, who cannot hold down a job, falls in love with every woman he sees, and when he receives a negative response, he attempts suicide. He will once again cause trouble for his family.

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
