SplatElzė returns to Lithuania from Switzerland for a vacation. She rents a cozy farmhouse in a remote village, hoping to find peace and inspiration for her painting. However, the idyllic peace is disturbed by Nojus. Their budding friendship soon sparks passion, and their love is intertwined with desire, longing, and fear. Elzė's past haunts her—she is being pursued by her ex-boyfriend. Will these two passion-driven people be able to overcome the shadows of the past and simply love each other?

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
