SplatIn a quiet seaside town, high school students Haino and Reiko are dating. They try to go further than just kissing, but fail due to a condition set by Reiko: Haino must win his next rugby match to earn her consent. Motivated by this goal, Haino devotes himself to the game—until a new woman catches his eye: Izawa, a substitute teacher at their school. When Reiko sees Izawa getting close to Haino, she becomes consumed with jealousy.

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
