SplatOur days. Seventeen-year-old schoolgirl Zhenya comes from the "northern capital" to a border village in the Belgorod region to see her brother, a volunteer, before he leaves for the invasion of Ukraine. There she meets a local informal leader, call sign "Timur", and his team, also teenage “volunteers“, who not only help Zhenya see her brother, a tanker, while helping the Russian "security forces" eliminate Ukrainian civilians, but also completely change her outlook on life. And as it happens, the personal relationship between Zhenya and "Timur" goes beyond "just friendship".

Stayed so true to the source material but still had its own must-see moments. A beautiful revival.
Overlong and bogged down in dark photography and art direction, this live action remake doesn’t come close to the magic that was the animated original.
My daughter and I absolutely loved this movie! The actors they selected were spot on compared to their animated version! A must see!!!!! Bravo!!!
im not a big fan of live action remakes, but this was solid!
